I.recommend后可接双宾语，表达为recommend somebody something。

II.recommend后面很少加to。
I recommend the students to be on the lookout for the idioms.
加上it to加to更常见。
III.recommend后常接动名词，不接不定式。

IV.当recommend后接that从句时，用虚拟现在式。
I recommended that the reader be on the lookout for idioms.
V.recommend something to somebody与recommend somebbody to something意思差不多，但是前者用法更加普遍；
VI.recommend做名词时，与recommendation意思相同，一般用于口语中。
